In addition to following our Cross-contamination prevention policy, here is the right attitude to adopt in the current situation:
1 – LEARN MORE
Stay tuned for new directives that governments are taking and respect them Gouvernement du Québec –https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/ Government of Canada –https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection.html
2 – EMPLOYMENT
Ask your employer to telework or get unemployment: we suggest that you do a preventive withdrawal, voluntary isolation, if your employer is open to this idea. If this is not possible, follow government infection prevention guidelines to the letter.
Your questions regarding workers’ rights and the coronavirus here: https://www.cnesst.gouv.qc.ca/en/prevention-and-safety/covid-19
3 – STRESS AND ANXIETY
Find techniques to manage your stress (call a helpline, see a healthcare professional, meditate, do yoga, talk to your friend, exercise at home)
4 – LIVING REMOTELY (drugs + groceries)
Have your groceries and medications delivered to you. In addition, stock up on provisions: ask for an advance on medicine and buy non-perishable food.
5 – TO AVOID
- Avoid all kinds of transport (especially by public)
- Avoid gatherings of any kind
6 – YOUR CF CLINIC
Do not go to the hospital without calling your team at the clinic first for information on the procedures to be followed, unless it is an emergency.
7 – TREATMENTS
Continue to do your treatments and rest
8 – HYGIENE AND RELATIVES
- State your health and safety needs in order to respect yourself and protect yourself from the people around you. Those around you must be extra vigilant and take the appropriate measures
- Don’t touch your face
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and drag a Purell with you.
P.S. Indulge yourself by doing activities (at home) such as painting, writing, listening to series, etc.! Patience and zenitude are essential!
